The Arkham Tales announcement mailing list.
Uncategorized October 11th, 2008If you want to be sure to get the first issue of Arkham Tales when it rolls off the virtual presses (and you haven’t subscribed to our RSS feed), then allow me to present the announcement mailing list. This will be used ONLY on the release of a new issue four times a year, so rest assured that your inbox won’t be filled with useless spam and blather.
To subscribe, simply add your email address here and the rest will be taken care of by internet magic.
(If you’ve previously submitted a story or otherwise inquired about Arkham Tales, I’ve taken the liberty of adding your address to the list. If even that minimal contact offends you, you can unsubscribe preemptively here.)

Put something like “New issue: ” in front of the title of your new issue announcement posts, & the announcement can reach a few more people - subscribers to Variety SF’s machine-generated original free fiction feed. Let me know in comments of the link of my name above, or privately.

I’m only getting a “404 Error” when I click on the link, I’m afraid.

Prankster,
We just shifted hosting today, and there were a couple of loose ends. It’s corrected now. Thanks.

Looking forward to checking this out…
Hey if you guys had an RSS feed of the stories as they came out people could subscribe via itunes (itunes can display PDF files) and the newest edition would be downloaded automatically to the users computer.
Idea?

It’s an idea. The only problem is that I would actually have to start TWO new RSS feeds, as we plan to publish the magazine in both screen-readable and print-out-able resolutions and page orders.

I was looking over the site and I can’t find what would be a reasonable time to query about a submission. Duotrope has your site at an astonishing 11 days average ! Very impressive, by the way.

I’m a little behind on responses (about three weeks) due to working on getting the magazine out this month. Certainly, anything submitted now will get a response by the end of the month.
